Summer Programs:

Summer Kids Camp
Summer Kids Save the Bay Camp

Expressive Arts Summer Camp: This camp, a combination of drama, art and music, was run by teaching veterans Julia Montminy and Callie Clark. The program creates "a learning experience for children who would not otherwise have the opportunity to attend a camp."

Save The Bay Camp: JEF teamed with Save The Bay and the Jamestown Parks and Recreation Department to offer this highly acclaimed hands-on learning experience. Trained naturalists from STB work with students as they explore the beaches, salt marshes, rocky shores and shallows of our island. There is an estuary and eelgrass day when campers use nets to catch and observe animals that live in the estuary. Kids also take a ride on STB's education vessel to explore Narragansett Bay more closely. Camp will run two full weeks this summer, July 7-11 and August 4-8 and the price is $60 per week. Need-based scholarships are available; please do not hesitate to inquire. For information, contact Brenda Hawkins (423-9161). Registration is limited; sign up now!
